On Christmas morning, President Trump decided to take a jab at former President Barack Obama in a playful way on social media.

Trump posted a photo from his inauguration day in 2017, showing him smiling while standing near Obama.

He added a caption that said, “When you see the guy who said ‘you’ll never be president’ at your inauguration.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Barack Obama had said several times that Donald Trump would never become president. Obama even made a public comment mocking the idea of Trump winning. Trump, however, went on to win the election, surprising many, including Obama.

One of their memorable exchanges happened before the election. Trump had criticized Obama on Twitter, saying, “President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!” Obama fired back confidently, saying, “At least I will go down as a president.”
