iPhone Users May Be Owed Money After Shocking Lawsuit Against Apple!

50views

Apple is being accused of misleading people in the way it advertised one of its iPhones. A new lawsuit claims that millions of iPhone users might be entitled to money because Apple promised features that weren’t actually available when the phone came out.

Reports from the *Vancouver Sun* say the issue is about the iPhone 16 and its artificial intelligence (AI) features. Apple had promoted the phone with big claims about a new system called “Apple Intelligence.” But when the phone hit stores in September 2024, those features weren’t ready yet. Instead, they slowly started to show up in later software updates, and even now, one of the biggest promised features—a smarter Siri voice assistant—is still missing.

On TikTok, a lawyer named Angela broke down what’s happening. She said there are multiple lawsuits being filed right now. The main complaint is that Apple made a lot of noise about exciting new AI tools in the iPhone 16, which encouraged many people to buy the phone. But after the purchase, buyers discovered the features didn’t exist or were far from finished.

Angela explained that Apple advertised Siri being able to work across different apps smoothly, but the lawsuit claims that Apple knew these features weren’t ready. Even so, the company launched big marketing campaigns and sold millions of phones. Only later did Apple admit that the promised features were still under development and would take longer than expected to roll out.

Another lawsuit in California also focuses on the same issue, pointing out that the advertised AI tools are still not working as promised. According to *The New York Times*, some of the AI features are expected to arrive later in 2025, but no one is sure exactly which ones or when.

After the delay, Apple moved the Siri project from its head of AI, John Giannandrea, to Mike Rockwell, who leads the Vision Pro team. But some experts say that just changing the people in charge isn’t enough. Tech analyst Michael Gartenberg said Apple needs to take a serious look at what went wrong, calling this a clear case of making big promises and failing to deliver.

Many iPhone 16 users are now expressing their disappointment online. On TikTok, someone asked where they could join the lawsuit to get a settlement. Another person said they upgraded from an iPhone 11 to the 16 but regret it because of constant glitches and useless AI tools. They even felt their older phone worked better.
