Kanye West has once again caused controversy with his social media posts. This time, he shared a picture of a T-shirt with a swastika on it, calling it his “greatest performance art.” This comes after he was mocked at the Critics’ Choice Awards on February 7th. Over the past few days, he has posted many offensive messages on Twitter/X and Instagram, targeting the Jewish community with anti-Semitic comments, calling himself racist, and claiming control over his wife.

In one post, he showed a white T-shirt with the swastika symbol and wrote, “I’ve wanted to make this tee shirt for years. My greatest performance art piece thus far.” He also wrote in all caps, “I DON’T LIKE THAT I SAID SOCIAL EXPERIMENT I TWEETING EVERYTHING I FELT AND IM NOT FIXING NOTHING FK EVERYONE.” In another post, he defended his controversial statements by saying, “IM NOT GONNA DO ALL THIS WORK TO SAY WHAT THE FK I WANT AND THEN NOT SAY WHAT THE F**K I WANT.”

Kanye also targeted Richard Saghian, the founder of Fashion Nova, by posting a video of himself with him. In the video, Kanye says, “I see what it is right here man, right here,” and puts his arm around Richard, who responds with, “What’s up man?” Kanye replies, “Shalom,” a Hebrew word meaning peace. Along with the video, Kanye accused Richard of stealing his designs, writing, “ME AND RICH FROM FASHIONOVA… HE STOLE MY DESIGNS.”

Kanye spent much of yesterday posting controversial and offensive content on social media. He has been banned from many platforms in the past for similar behavior. This time, he posted anti-Semitic and sexist comments, and even targeted sick children, saying he only interacts with people who are “useful” to him and has no “respect” or “empathy” for others.

He also called himself a Nazi and a racist, saying he would “never apologize” for his hateful comments about the Jewish community. In one tweet, he wrote, “I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE F* ANTI SEMITIC MEANS. IT’S JUST SOME BULLS* JEWISH PEOPLE MADE UP TO PROTECT THEIR BULLS***. JEWISH PEOPLE ACTUALLY HATE WHITE PEOPLE AND USE BLACK PEOPLE.”

At the Critics’ Choice Awards, comedian Chelsea Handler made fun of Kanye while introducing actor Jesse Eisenberg to the stage. Jesse was presenting the award for Best Supporting Actress, which went to Zoe Saldana. Before Jesse came on stage, Chelsea joked, “from a movie we know Kanye West didn’t see.” Jesse starred in the comedy-drama A Real Pain, a film about Jewish characters touring Poland to honor their grandmother.
