Boris Johnson Humiliated by Reform Party MP – Branded a ‘Complete Failure'”

11views

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson is no longer in politics, but some wonder if he’ll try to return. However, a Reform Party MP, Rupert Lowe, says Johnson was a complete failure as Prime Minister and is not needed in his party.

Lowe made it clear that if Johnson wanted to join Reform, he would not be welcome. He said, “He has already had his chance and completely failed.”

Lowe, who won the Great Yarmouth seat from the Conservatives, also dismissed any idea of the Reform Party teaming up with the Tories before the next election. He pointed out that in 2019, Nigel Farage, then leader of the Brexit Party, decided not to run candidates in Conservative-held areas, which helped Johnson win a huge majority.

But Lowe questioned what Johnson actually achieved with that power. “Nigel stepped aside last time and helped Boris get an 80-seat majority. And what did Boris do with it? He didn’t even handle Brexit properly. The Northern Ireland Protocol left part of the UK tied to the EU,” he said.

Lowe also said he doesn’t believe Johnson would leave the Conservative Party to join Reform, nor does he want him to. “Boris was a total failure. The idea that he could become Prime Minister again is ridiculous,” he added.

His comments come at a time when Conservatives are worried that the Reform Party could split the right-wing vote. In the last election, the Conservatives won over 6.8 million votes and 121 seats, while Reform got 4.1 million votes and won five seats.

Boris Johnson has been asked for his response.
