Woman Warns Her Family and Friends: Pay £200 Per Person or Do Not Attend My Christmas Dinner

A mum has revealed that this year she’s asking her family and friends to pay £200 each for Christmas dinner and insists they leave her house by 8:30 pm.

Carla Bellucci, a 42-year-old from Hertfordshire, says rising costs have made this decision necessary. Known for her controversial views, Carla is unapologetic about her approach and says she has no plans to make any exceptions.

Last year, she charged her guests £150 each for the meal, which caused quite a stir. This year, however, she’s increased the price due to the cost of living crisis. The £200 fee covers a three-course meal, including a glass of champagne, but guests need to bring their own alcohol if they want anything else to drink.

She explained, “The money is just to cover food and bills. It’s not about making a profit. Cooking for everyone takes time, effort, and money, and I think it’s fair for them to contribute. If anyone refuses to pay, that’s totally fine—they just don’t need to come.”

Carla also ensures that children under 16 can eat for free, while only adults are asked to pay. Around 10 people are expected to attend her Christmas gathering this year, and she always asks for an RSVP so she can prepare enough food. “People should be grateful that I’m taking the stress off them. The least they can do is help cover the costs,” she said.

The Christmas dinner will feature butternut squash soup as a starter, a choice between beef wellington or a traditional turkey roast with all the sides for the main course, and a classic tiramisu for dessert.

Guests can also enjoy some entertainment, including games and watching shared videos to reflect on the past year. However, the fun won’t last too long, as Carla has set a strict deadline of 8:30 pm for everyone to leave. She wants to spend some quiet time with her children after the guests go.

Carla has also opened up about her previous Christmas habits. Last year, she spent £8,000 on herself and gave her children nothing, which left them feeling upset.

This year, she’s decided to change her approach and plans to spend £500 on each of her four kids. She shared that her youngest child, Blu, is easy to please and loves toys, while her older children will receive phone upgrades and smaller gifts like perfume.

“It’s not always easy because my kids already have so much, but I’ll still spend all I can to make their Christmas special. They deserve everything,” Carla added. Despite the criticism she often faces, Carla says she’s focused on doing what works for her and her family during the festive season.
