Rupert Lowe delivered a fiery and impassioned speech, criticizing the government’s approach to immigration. He declared that the UK is in “chaos” due to years of uncontrolled mass migration. The former Brexit Party MEP did not hold back, accusing politicians of failing the British people and allowing public services to deteriorate under the strain.
“Look around you,” Lowe said, addressing a crowd in Great Yarmouth. “Our roads are packed, our hospitals are overwhelmed, and our GP surgeries are bursting at the seams. Dentists are impossible to access, and our schools are overcrowded. The system is broken, and mass immigration is largely to blame.”
Lowe pointed to the repeated promises made by the Conservative government to reduce immigration, which he says have been broken time and time again. “In 2010, 2015, 2016, and 2019, the British people voted for lower immigration. But what did the Conservatives do? They let it spiral out of control, with no thought for the brutal consequences.”
He didn’t mince words when it came to the political system either, calling it “arrogant, out of touch, and incompetent.” Lowe accused both major parties of serving themselves rather than the people, saying, “We’ve had woeful government after woeful government, and nothing ever changes. The political class doesn’t care about towns like Great Yarmouth or the people who live here.”
Lowe also warned of the dangers of what he called “socialism by stealth,” suggesting that the current policies are leading the country down a damaging path. “I fear that many in Britain won’t understand the true cost of these policies until it’s too late,” he said. “The only difference between this government and the last is that they might be more honest about what they’re planning to inflict on the British people.”
The speech struck a chord with many in the audience, who applauded Lowe’s blunt assessment of the challenges facing the country. “He’s saying what we’re all thinking,” said one attendee. “We feel ignored, and our towns are suffering. Something has to change.”
As the debate over immigration continues to dominate national politics, Lowe’s scathing critique has added fuel to the fire. With public services under strain and communities feeling the pressure, his message is clear: the country is in chaos, and the time for action is now.
