Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, has a history of being rude to royal staff, which has earned him a bad reputation. He is often voted as the least liked royal, partly because of how he treats palace employees.
In 2003, journalist Ryan Parry from the *Daily Mirror* worked undercover in the royal household for two months and heard many stories about the Royal Family. One of the most shocking stories he heard involved a senior footman who had gone to wake Prince Andrew. When the footman entered the room and greeted him with “Good morning, your Royal Highness,” Andrew responded with a rude two-word phrase: “f*** off.”
According to Parry, this behavior was not unusual, as Prince Andrew was known for being demanding and rough with staff. He also had a habit of driving quickly past the Palace gates in his Aston Martin, sometimes even causing the police to step back.
Despite his behavior, Andrew is said to be very loyal to his brother, King Charles, even though Charles is reportedly trying to evict him from the Royal Lodge. A source close to the royals mentioned that Andrew has never spoken badly about his older brother, even though he faces the threat of being forced out of his home.
