Prince Andrew Refuses to Leave Crumbling Royal Lodge Despite King Charles Cutting Support, You Wouldn’t Believe Why

Prince Andrew has been trying to save money by taking care of the garden around his home, Royal Lodge, but the property is in bad shape. The house has 30 rooms and is surrounded by a large garden with trees and bushes that need a lot of work. Experts say the property is very hard to maintain, and Andrew’s efforts aren’t enough to fix it. 

Andrew’s brother, King Charles III, has been paying Andrew’s rent to help him stay in Royal Lodge. Some believe Charles is doing this because their late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, would have wanted Andrew to be supported. However, Charles has removed valuable items from the house because of security and upkeep concerns. Now, the shelves where these items were kept are reportedly empty. 

Andrew has lived in Royal Lodge since 2004. He shares the home with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. King Charles suggested Andrew move to a smaller house, Frogmore Cottage, which is modern, easier to take care of, and cheaper to maintain. But Andrew refused, saying he wanted to stay in Royal Lodge. Because of this, Charles stopped giving him extra money, including funds for private security. 

Andrew has faced a lot of criticism over the years, especially after stepping back from his royal duties in 2019. This happened because of his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender. Andrew has kept a low profile since then, but the public and royal experts continue to question his role in the royal family. 

Andrew has spent millions of dollars on repairs and renovations at Royal Lodge over the years, but the property still needs a lot of work. He also pays annual rent for the home, but his finances are now under pressure. Some believe he should move to a smaller, more affordable place, but Andrew wants to stay where he is. 

King Charles, who is reportedly dealing with health problems, is said to have tried everything to convince Andrew to move, including offering to cover his expenses if he left Royal Lodge. However, Andrew insisted on staying, which has caused tension. People close to the family believe Charles has been generous, but Andrew’s refusal to leave has made things more difficult. 

Many experts say Andrew needs to find something meaningful to do with his life. They believe his current situation, living in a large house and not taking on any responsibilities, is unsustainable.
