Nigel Farage lashed out at Keir Starmer for introducing a new policy that he says will stop Reform UK from growing

Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, has said that the Prime Minister will not be able to stop his party, even after new rules were introduced to limit political donations from Britons living overseas.
A very wealthy British businessman, Ben Delo, who currently lives in Hong Kong, has decided he will move back to the UK so he can continue giving large amounts of money to Reform UK. Earlier this year, he donated £4 million to the party, showing strong support for Farage and his political movement.
However, the government has now changed the law. Under the new rules, British citizens who live abroad can only donate up to £100,000 per year to political parties. This is a huge drop compared to what was previously allowed. The changes also include a ban on donations made using cryptocurrency.
Ben Delo, who co-founded the cryptocurrency trading platform BitMEX and is known as one of the youngest self-made billionaires in Britain, has strongly criticised the government’s decision. He believes the new rules are unfair and are designed to make it harder for Reform UK to compete politically. He accused Prime Minister Keir Starmer of trying to tilt the system in favour of his own party and weaken the opposition.
Because of this, Delo says he is willing to return to Britain earlier than planned. By doing so, he would no longer be affected by the overseas donation limit and could give more financial support to Reform UK. He also called on other wealthy individuals who care about the country’s future to step forward and support the party financially. In his view, building a strong financial backing is key to challenging the current government and winning the next election.
Nigel Farage responded quickly after hearing about Delo’s plans. He criticised Keir Starmer, calling him dishonest and accusing him of trying to block Reform UK’s progress. Farage insisted that these actions will not slow them down. Instead, he said they are making supporters even more determined to fight against Labour in the next general election.
