Labour Has Let Us Down – Mark Dolan Blasts Keir Starmer And Rachel Reeves in Angry Speech

GB News presenter Mark Dolan delivered a passionate and straightforward critique of the Labour government, calling out Keir Starmer and Chancellor Rachel Reeves for what he described as policy failures, broken promises, and poor management of the economy. Dolan claimed that Labour’s time in power has led to disappointment and regret for many voters.

He began by pointing out how Keir Starmer became Prime Minister with negative poll ratings, a historic low for a new leader. According to Dolan, the public didn’t choose Labour out of hope—they simply wanted the Conservatives out of office. “Now, we’re paying the price,” he said, comparing the government to leaving one bad relationship only to end up in an even worse one.

Dolan strongly criticized Labour’s policies, especially their tax increases and decisions impacting businesses and workers. He accused Rachel Reeves of going back on her promise not to raise taxes, calling the current tax policies the biggest increase since World War II. He argued that these decisions have hurt the economy, saying, “Growth is in freefall. How can you call this progress?”

He also accused Labour of breaking promises to protect pensioners by cutting winter fuel payments for millions of people, saying, “This government of hope has turned out to be a government of lies.”

Dolan argued that Labour’s tax hikes and policies are forcing businesses to cut jobs, delay pay raises, and reduce hiring. He described this as a “race to the bottom,” claiming it is socialism in action, which he believes has never worked historically. According to Dolan, Labour’s actions are hurting workers because struggling businesses cannot afford to support their employees.

Dolan highlighted the growing public frustration with Labour, citing a petition for an emergency general election that has attracted over two million signatures. He said this shows how unpopular the government has become just months after taking office. “Even Sir Michael Caine has shared this petition. When he’s not happy, you know it’s serious,” Dolan noted.

Dolan concluded by predicting that Labour will not win the next election, describing Starmer as “pathologically dishonest” and accusing him of saying anything to gain power. He argued that Labour lacks a clear plan for the country and is already facing widespread criticism.

“This government is the most hated new government in history, and it won’t survive,” Dolan said. He ended his segment by urging viewers to prepare for tough times under the current administration and to look forward to political change in the future.
