Keir Starmer Blasts Reform UK With Chilling Six Words That Leave Everyone in Shock

Keir Starmer has dismissed Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party, calling them a group that just complains without offering real solutions. With local elections happening next week, Starmer made it clear he doesn’t see them as a serious threat. He said Reform UK just stands on the sidelines and complains instead of doing anything helpful.

Ahead of St George’s Day, Starmer said the Labour Party represents true British values and pride in the country. He accused Reform UK of pretending to be patriotic while showing support for Vladimir Putin, the Russian leader behind the war in Ukraine.

More than 1,600 councillors and six mayors will be elected next week across 23 local councils. The Conservatives are expected to struggle in these elections, as they did well in the last round during Boris Johnson’s time, when the Covid vaccine rollout was popular.

Nigel Farage has been trying to gain more support for his party, especially in Labour’s traditional strongholds in the North of England, areas known as the “Red Wall.” Reform UK is also hoping to surprise Labour in Runcorn and Helsby, where a by-election is taking place after the former Labour MP, Mike Amesbury, received a suspended sentence for getting into a fight.

During a visit to a school in Bath, Starmer told *The Mirror* that Labour is delivering on its promises. He said they’ve made good progress in reducing NHS waiting times, with two million extra appointments already made since Labour took office. He also mentioned that Labour is putting more money into public services and fixing everyday issues like potholes—things that really matter to people.

He sharply criticized Farage’s Reform UK, saying they talk about supporting workers’ rights but vote against them in Parliament. He also accused them of wanting to make people pay to use the NHS. Starmer said Labour would never support such a move. This came after Farage suggested in the past that the NHS should be funded like an insurance system. Although Farage later denied wanting to make people pay directly, he did say the system needs to be looked at again.

Starmer also brought up Reform UK’s attitude toward Russia, saying they act patriotic but praise Putin, who is leading the invasion of Ukraine. He said this shows they can’t be trusted, and that they complain a lot but offer no real solutions to the problems people face.

Finally, Starmer said he’s proud of Labour’s record of patriotism, pointing to moments in history like rebuilding Britain after World War II and helping to create NATO under Labour Prime Minister Clement Attlee. He said Labour will be celebrating that legacy on St George’s Day, and he’s proud to highlight all the good things about Britain.

That evening, Starmer was set to host a celebration at Downing Street in honour of England’s national day.
