I Regretted It!” — Elon Musk Apologizes After Explosive Feud with Trump, Deletes Epstein Bombshell Post

Elon Musk, the billionaire behind Tesla and SpaceX, said on Wednesday that he regrets some of the things he posted online about U.S. President Donald Trump during a heated argument last week. The argument caused the once-strong friendship between the two to fall apart.
Musk had previously worked closely with Trump, even leading the Department of Government Efficiency during Trump’s second term. Their partnership had been strong, but this recent clash raised worries about the future of Musk’s companies in the business world.
Musk took to his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), and admitted that he went too far with some of his posts. “I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” he wrote.

The fight began after Musk publicly criticized a new tax and spending bill called the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” which was supported by Trump. Musk strongly disagreed with the bill, and things escalated from there.
By Saturday, Musk had removed some of the posts that had made the situation worse. One of the deleted messages reportedly accused Trump of being named in documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, a known sex offender who died in prison. The White House quickly denied the claim.
The dispute played out online, with Musk using X and Trump posting on his platform, Truth Social. At one point, Trump even suggested canceling government contracts and financial support that Musk’s companies currently receive.
