Heated row breaks out as royal experts clash on just how ‘disrespectful’ Prince Harry is

A recent episode of The Sun’s Royal Exclusive podcast sparked a heated discussion over Prince Harry’s relationship with the media and how much it may have changed since Meghan Markle came into his life.

Veteran royal photographer Arthur Edwards insisted Harry used to be friendly and easygoing with the press, even socializing with them over drinks. He says it all shifted after Meghan came on the scene in 2016.

However, royal author Robert Jobson pushed back, saying Harry had shown signs of being “disrespectful” even before then, recalling an incident in 2015 where Harry jokingly smeared paint on Edwards’ head.

Edwards defended the moment as harmless fun, noting they laughed about it later. But Jobson held firm, suggesting Harry always had some underlying issues with the media.

The podcast’s host, Matt Wilkinson, added that while Harry’s tensions may have existed before, they definitely became more intense after his marriage, with more personal struggles coming to light.

This comes on the heels of Harry losing a major court case in the UK, where he tried to reinstate his full police protection while visiting. The judges sympathized with his concerns but ruled the decision to scale back his security was reasonable.

Harry expressed disappointment, saying he wants reconciliation and doesn’t want to keep fighting. He also shared that the security issue has always been the biggest barrier between him and the royal family.

Buckingham Palace responded with a rare statement, saying the matter has been reviewed thoroughly multiple times and the court rulings have consistently supported the current position.
