Vladimir Putin Hit with Shock Ultimatum: Keir Starmer and US Team Up to Force 30-Day Ceasefire!

9views

Vladimir Putin is now facing strong pressure from UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and several European leaders to agree to a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine. This demand comes after former U.S. President Donald Trump publicly called for a temporary halt to the war, saying that, ideally, both sides should stop fighting for at least a month. Trump stressed that if either Russia or Ukraine breaks this ceasefire, the U.S. and its allies would respond by putting even tougher sanctions in place.

Keir Starmer recently travelled to Ukraine and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss possible peace efforts. Alongside him were other major European figures including France’s Emmanuel Macron, Poland’s Donald Tusk, and Germany’s Friedrich Merz. Together, they issued a powerful joint statement supporting Trump’s idea and urging Russia to agree to the temporary truce. They warned that the longer Putin resists peace, the more pressure will be put on Russia’s military operations.

Trump posted a message on Truth Social, saying that he believes peace talks could happen quickly and that he’s ready to help at any moment if needed. He expressed concern about the high number of young soldiers dying each week and said the United States supports stopping the war immediately. He promised that if he returns to office, he will stay focused on achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine, alongside European partners, aiming for a permanent peace deal, not just a short break.

Ukraine’s foreign minister, Andrii Sybiha, also confirmed that Ukraine and its allies are ready to start a full and unconditional 30-day ceasefire beginning Monday. Meanwhile, the group of European leaders made it clear that unless Russia agrees, they will keep increasing pressure on Putin’s regime. They insisted that the killing must stop and that Russia must end its illegal war in Ukraine.

Plans are now in motion for a virtual summit where leaders from different countries will receive updates on the situation and further discuss the creation of an international peacekeeping force. Around 30 countries have already begun coordinating with military officers to explore this effort. The goal is to stop the fighting, restore peace, and bring long-term stability to the region.
