In his speech, Harry talked about how he has been focusing on helping others and serving the community over the past five years. This period started when he decided to step back from his royal duties and move to the US.
He then spoke about the negative impact that occurs when leaders forget about basic morals and empathy, and instead focus on gaining power and control.
Harry seemed to be indirectly criticizing President Trump when he said, “Now would be a great time to talk about how poor leadership in various fields—from politics to technology—can harm millions, or even billions, of people.
This happens when leaders prioritize their own benefits over serving others. When they ignore basic morals and empathy just to gain more power and control. But I’m not going to dive into all that right now!”
This speech came shortly after King Charles had given what was described as an “unprecedented” invitation to the US President, adding an interesting layer to the timing of Harry’s comments.
