A Russian blogger has shared a shocking truth about the war in Ukraine. He says Russian soldiers are dying so quickly that there aren’t enough body bags for their bodies. The blogger, Maxim Klimov, known as a “Z-Patriot,” shared this information in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Anton Geraschenko, a former Ukrainian government adviser.
He talked about a video made by Russian influencer Nastya Belka. In the video, she explains that they had only a few body bags and other supplies, and the situation was very bad.
Klimov said: “The people there thought they would receive many body bags. But only a few were delivered. One soldier later called her and said, ‘Sorry, we’re just tired of washing the same body bags over and over.’”
He explained that the body bags are taken to a city called Rostov, washed, and then reused for more dead bodies.
Geraschenko added that this shows how large the losses are in the Russian army. So many soldiers are dying that they’ve run out of proper supplies for the dead.
According to UK Defence Intelligence, about 875,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or injured since the war began in February 2022. Around 90,000 of those happened in 2025 alone.
Russia has been sending many poorly trained and badly equipped soldiers into battle. This has caused massive casualties. Before it was shut down, the Wagner group used prisoners as fighters. Now, the Russian army is forcing more people to join through conscription.
Even with all the losses, the Russian government continues its attacks and sends new recruits into battle. But many Russian soldiers are losing hope. Some are giving up or running away instead of risking death.
Meanwhile, Ukraine, using Western weapons like long-range missiles and accurate artillery, has destroyed many of Russia’s supply routes and command centers.
Experts say Russia may not be able to keep losing soldiers at this rate. Fewer people want to join the army, and many Russians are getting tired of the war.
Ukraine says it will keep fighting to take back the land Russia has taken. But Russia’s leaders still seem willing to sacrifice many lives just to gain some military advantage.
