Nigel Farage’s Reform UK has shocked British politics by taking the lead in a new poll, putting them ahead of Labour and the Conservatives for the first time.
The result shows that many people are fed up with traditional parties and are ready for something new.
Speaking to GB News, Farage said this was a big moment:
“Reform is growing fast because people see we can make real changes. With the right leadership, this country can turn around.”
Farage explained that the party is winning support from all sides, including from people who didn’t vote last time.
“We’re talking about issues that matter to families and communities, not dodging them like Westminster does,” he said.
When asked if Reform UK might work with the Conservatives, Farage dismissed the idea:
“The Conservatives promised to control immigration and failed. They let in a million people a year. I trusted them before, and they let us all down. No deal.”
Farage also talked about lessons from his trip to the US, where he found inspiration in Donald Trump’s bold leadership.
“Trump showed how strong policies and optimism can bring people together. That’s what we’re doing here,” he said.
He hinted at a recent conversation with Elon Musk but made it clear that he’s his own boss:
“Nobody, not even the richest man in the world, tells me what to do.”
Farage admitted there’s still a lot of work ahead, saying:
“Politics can change quickly, but I can feel a movement growing. People are ready for real reform.”
He also criticized Labour and the Conservatives over their handling of serious issues like the Southport murder trial.
“There’s too much cover-up culture. The public deserves leaders who will confront these problems head-on,” Farage said.
When asked if he’s ready to become Prime Minister, Farage didn’t hesitate:
“Absolutely. This country needs strong leadership, and I’m ready for it.”
Farage promised to keep improving the party, choosing strong candidates, and focusing on practical solutions.
“The country is broken, and we’re here to fix it,” he said.
Whether this poll marks a new political era or a temporary shift remains to be seen, but Farage is confident the country is ready for change.
