Nigel Farage Blast  Labour’s ‘feeble’ removal of 19,000 migrants Instead of Doing This

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has criticized the Labour government for being too weak in stopping illegal immigration.

Yesterday, the Home Office shared rare video footage of migrants being deported to their home countries. The government did this to show they are serious about controlling immigration.

Official records show that 5,074 people were forcibly removed from the UK since Labour came to power. This is nearly 25% more than the same time last year.

However, Farage called these numbers “weak” compared to the large number of illegal migrants believed to be in London.

He told MailOnline: “With about 600,000 illegal migrants in London alone, these numbers are too small.”

The Home Office defended their decision to release the video showing illegal migrants being deported.

A study by Thames Water estimated that about 585,000 illegal migrants live in London, which is about 1 in 13 people in the city.

Other studies suggest there could be as many as 1.2 million illegal migrants in the UK, but there is no exact way to confirm this.

Many migrants leave voluntarily, and some even receive up to £3,000 to help them restart their lives in their home countries.

Between July 5 and January 31, a total of 18,987 people were removed from the UK, either voluntarily or by force. Among them, 2,925 were foreign criminals.

The Home Office also said that in 1 out of 10 cases, officers need to use force to make sure people get on the plane.

The decision to release the deportation videos has caused debate within the Labour Party. Some support it as a strong message to illegal migrants, while others criticize it.

The government released the videos as Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said that “governments, not criminal gangs, should decide who enters the UK.”

18,987 migrants were removed between July 5 and January 31.

Home Office Minister Dame Angela Eagle defended sharing the videos, saying it helps warn people who may have been misled about what life in the UK is really like if they enter illegally.

She told BBC Radio 4: “It’s important to show people the truth. Many illegal migrants end up living in poor conditions and being exploited by criminal gangs.”

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper added: “To make the immigration system fair and effective, we must enforce the rules. That’s why we are increasing resources for immigration enforcement to ensure that those who have no right to stay, especially criminals, are removed quickly.

“I want to thank all the immigration officers and Home Office staff who work hard every day to make this system fair and efficient.”
