Mystery Fire Erupts at Keir Starmer’s £2M Home – Cops Rush In After Neighbours Hear Shocking Bang!

In the early hours of Monday morning, a fire broke out at a house owned by Prime Minister Keir Starmer in north-west London. The fire happened at around 1:11 a.m. and was brought under control by fire crews just over 20 minutes later, at 1:33 a.m.

The house is worth around £2 million and is being rented out to someone else. Keir Starmer and his family no longer live there — they moved into an apartment in 10 Downing Street after he became Prime Minister in July 2024.

Emergency services, including firefighters and police, quickly arrived at the scene. They blocked off the entire street as a safety precaution. Firefighters put out the flames, and thankfully, no one was hurt. The front entrance of the house was damaged, but the fire didn’t spread far.

A neighbor said they were woken up by a loud noise that sounded like glass breaking. It frightened them because it was in the middle of the night and totally unexpected.

After the fire was out, police began investigating. Forensic officers — wearing white suits — were seen collecting evidence outside the house during the day. Police haven’t yet said what caused the fire, and it’s not clear if it was an accident or something suspicious.

A spokesperson for the police said:

“The fire caused damage to the entrance of the property. No one was hurt. The investigation is ongoing.”

Keir Starmer’s office also gave a short statement. They said he is thankful to the emergency services for their quick response but won’t comment further while the police investigation is still happening.
