MAGA national security expert turns on Donald Trump with devastating prediction: ‘Impeachable!’

A national security analyst who has long described himself as an “America First” supporter and a strong backer of Donald Trump is now openly criticizing the president and warning about what could happen if the conflict with Iran continues to grow.
The debate started after a report by journalist Natasha Bertrand of CNN revealed new details about covert efforts connected to Iran.
According to the report, the Central Intelligence Agency has been quietly working to provide support and weapons to Kurdish fighters in hopes of encouraging an uprising against the Iranian government.
The report also said that Kurdish opposition groups inside Iran expect to take part in a ground operation in western Iran in the near future, and they believe the United States and Israel will support them.
That report quickly caught the attention of David Pyne, a former U.S. Army combat arms and headquarters staff officer who studied national security at Georgetown University.
Pyne has often shown support for Donald Trump in the past and even features Trump’s image on his social media profile.
He currently works as the Deputy Director of National Operations for the EMP Task Force on National and Homeland Security and frequently writes about military and security issues.
Despite his past support for Trump, Pyne is now warning that the situation with Iran could become much worse than the president may expect. He argued that Trump initially hoped the conflict would be short and decisive.
However, according to Pyne, Iran’s refusal to back down has made that unlikely. He believes the situation escalated even further after U.S. actions reportedly turned Iran’s top political and religious leader into what many supporters now see as a martyr, strengthening Iran’s resolve instead of weakening it.
Pyne claims that the White House may now be considering sending American Special Forces into Iran to assist Kurdish militia fighters. If that happens, he believes it could effectively turn the situation into a full invasion.
He pointed out that Iran is a far larger and more complex country than Iraq. In fact, Iran is nearly four times the size of Iraq and has roughly twice the population, which would make any military campaign far more difficult and unpredictable.
Because of that, Pyne predicted that a conflict like this could drag on for a long time. Instead of ending quickly, he believes it could turn into a war lasting a year or even longer.
In his view, such a prolonged conflict would likely cost the lives of thousands of American soldiers. He warned that the United States could see many service members returning home in coffins, which would deeply shock the public and cause a major political backlash in Washington.
He also suggested that if a long and costly war unfolds, it could become a major issue in American politics, especially with congressional elections approaching.
According to Pyne, growing public anger over casualties and military spending could fuel new calls from Democrats to try to impeach Trump again.
Pyne went even further in his criticism, saying he believes the president may not have fully thought through the long-term consequences before allowing the conflict with Iran to escalate.
In his opinion, launching what he described as a massive regional war in the Middle East could end up being one of the most dangerous military decisions in decades.
In another message, Pyne compared the situation to the Iraq War during the presidency of George W. Bush. He argued that the United States made serious mistakes during that conflict.
According to him, the Iraq War ultimately strengthened Iran’s influence in the region instead of weakening it. He claimed that after years of fighting and the loss of thousands of American lives, Iraq eventually became more aligned with Iran’s interests than with those of the United States.
Pyne now fears that the United States could once again be drawn into a costly conflict that does not clearly serve American interests.
He argued that if the U.S. military becomes heavily involved in a war against Iran, it could place enormous strain on the country, risk the lives of millions of Americans, and create instability across the entire Middle East.
Because of these concerns, he concluded with a very strong accusation. In his view, allowing U.S. military power to be used in a war that primarily benefits another country rather than the United States could be considered a serious abuse of presidential power. For that reason, he argued that such a decision could even become grounds for impeachment.
