Kier Starmer Mocked and Humiliated as His Acting Coach Fails to Save Him

22views

A GB News panel recently made fun of Keir Starmer after it was revealed that he hired an acting coach to help him appear less “wooden” or stiff in public. This detail came from a new book called *Get It* by Patrick Maguire and Gabriel Pogrund, which gives an inside look at how Starmer led Labour back to power. The book also describes him as more like an HR manager than a true leader.

During the show, GB News host Nick Dixon, along with guests Leo Kearse and Lewis Schaffer, couldn’t stop laughing at the idea of Starmer needing an acting coach. Dixon joked, “Maybe he never started the lessons,” while Kearse added, “I think he wants his money back on that.” Dixon also teased, “He was sick that day,” suggesting the coaching didn’t help.

Schaffer pointed out that many people fear public speaking and even suggested that former US President Donald Trump might have had acting lessons too. Dixon then took another jab at Starmer, saying, “I could literally get up now with no notes and no knowledge of the subject and still do a better job than Starmer.” Kearse brought up Starmer’s awkward “sausage” comment from the past, saying, “And you wouldn’t mention sausages once.”

Dixon continued mocking Starmer, saying he could just say things like, “Far right thuggery. Go to jail if you’re British,” and claimed it would be easy to do better than the Prime Minister. He added, “But it’s so bad. He’s still so bad.”

The panel also discussed how voice coaching can work, using former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as an example. Dixon noted, “Her voice got warmer,” showing that improvement is possible, but he argued Starmer hasn’t shown any progress. Kearse agreed, saying Thatcher’s strong, firm style—earning her the nickname “The Iron Lady”—was a strength, even if she wasn’t as friendly or approachable as someone like Tony Blair.

Schaffer added that even Adolf Hitler had speech lessons, though he noted, “All his speeches were great up until the end.”

In short, the GB News panel had a field day mocking Starmer’s acting coach revelation, questioning his leadership style and public speaking skills, while comparing him to other leaders who used coaching to improve their delivery.
