Keir Starmer issues fierce rebuke to Russia war claims – ‘completely farcical’

The UK government has strongly rejected Russia’s claim that Britain is the “main instigator” of global conflicts. A spokesperson for the Prime Minister dismissed the accusation as completely ridiculous, saying that the only country responsible for launching an unjustified war is Russia.

The spokesperson pointed out that it was Vladimir Putin who ordered the invasion of Ukraine, attacking a sovereign nation without any valid reason.

Labour leader Keir Starmer also responded to Russia’s claim, saying it is not true that the UK is causing global conflicts. He insisted that the real issue is Russia’s actions, which have led to widespread suffering and destruction.

Downing Street issued a firm response, making it clear that only one country—Russia—has invaded another nation, kidnapped thousands of children, and targeted important infrastructure like power stations and water supplies.

These attacks have left innocent people, including children and the elderly, without food, heat, or electricity, especially during harsh winters.

The UK government also pointed out that Russia is sacrificing thousands of its own soldiers for an aggressive and unnecessary war. They believe Putin’s actions are not about security but about trying to expand Russia’s power at the cost of innocent lives.
