Keir Starmer in Big Trouble as New Poll Shows Brits Want Him Out of Office (See The Results)

Only 16% of people in Britain believe the country is heading in the right direction.
Exclusive Ipsos polling reveals optimism about the UK’s future has hit a low point since Labour came to power.
Currently, 62% of Brits think the country is moving in the wrong direction. In May 2021, nearly half (47%) felt positive about the UK’s trajectory. By July last year, this dropped to 25%, and it has since fallen another nine points.
When asked to rate Labour’s performance on a scale from 1 to 10, the average score was just 3.7.
Young people aged 18-24 were the most generous, giving Labour an average score of 5. However, the 35-64 age group rated them 3.7, and those aged 65 and over gave only 2.8.
Even Labour voters seem unimpressed, scoring the party at 5.6. Supporters of other parties were less kind, with Liberal Democrat voters giving 4.3, Conservatives 2.0, and Reform UK 1.4.
The findings coincide with a Techne poll showing Labour would receive 25% of votes in an election today, followed by 24% for the Conservatives, 24% for Reform UK, 13% for the Liberal Democrats, and 7% for the Greens.
A Labour MP blamed the poor performance on scrapping universal winter fuel payments, saying, “This policy could cost us the election. Winter fuel payments are a top priority.”
Conservative Party chairman Nigel Huddleston criticized Labour, saying, “Labour has damaged the country with record-high taxes, open-door immigration, and poor educational policies. The Conservatives, under new leadership, will rebuild trust and strengthen the UK.”
Reform UK MP Lee Anderson added, “This Government has failed its people with high taxes, frozen pensions, and unchecked illegal immigration. Britain needs a government that puts its citizens first.”
