The Prime Minister had strong words for the Reform party, accusing them of being too close to Vladimir Putin.

He also criticized Nigel Farage, saying he supports policies that are harmful and dangerous. The PM, Sir Keir Starmer, gave a clear warning about the Reform party and their actions.

Speaking at a Labour conference in Glasgow, the PM explained what Reform does when they show up in parliament. He said they vote against important laws that protect workers, like the Employment Rights Bill.

He pointed out that Reform talks a lot about supporting workers’ rights when they’re online or talking to people face-to-face, but their actions tell a different story.

They voted against stopping the unfair practice of firing workers and then rehiring them on worse terms. They also voted against ending zero-hour contracts, which leave workers without guaranteed hours or job security. On top of that, they voted against giving workers sick leave and maternity pay.

The PM also brought up the NHS, saying Reform wants to charge people for using it, which goes against the idea of free healthcare for everyone. He said Reform claims to be patriotic, but at the same time, they seem to admire Putin, the leader of Russia, who is widely seen as a threat to democracy and peace.

The PM made it clear that Reform is not the right choice for working people in Britain or for Scotland. He believes their policies are harmful and don’t represent the values of fairness and support for ordinary people.
