Kate Middleton will attend two important events to honor veterans in the United Kingdom, marking her return to public events after almost a year away.

According to the *Express*, she will join Prince William at the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday and stand by him on Remembrance Sunday.

The palace released a statement about the royal family’s attendance at the Festival of Remembrance.

It shared that King Charles, who recently became a patron of the Royal British Legion, will attend along with other senior royals, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal with Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent.

On Sunday, Kate will also be present at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph. This is a regular event for her, but her attendance was uncertain due to health challenges she faced this year.

Since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March, Kate has only made a few public appearances. These upcoming events mark her gradual return to royal duties. She may also be in the public eye during her Christmas carol concert and the traditional Christmas Day walk with the royal family at Sandringham.

Though her cancer treatment is finished, Kate remains under medical supervision, and her public appearances in 2025 will depend on her health.

Prince William recently spoke about how hard 2024 has been, as both Kate and his father, King Charles, fought cancer. In an interview on Nov. 7, William shared how painful it was to watch his wife and father go through such a tough time, calling it “the hardest year of my life.” He expressed pride in Kate and King Charles for handling everything so bravely but said it has been “brutal” for the family.

Kate Middleton’s next appearances with Prince William are scheduled for Nov. 9 and 10.
