Can the PM Sink Any Lower? Starmer’s Approval Hits Rock Bottom as NHS Fails and Scandals Grow – Kelvin MacKenzie Speaks Out!”
Kelvin MacKenzie, who used to be the editor of The Sun newspaper, is really upset about how things are going in Britain under the Labour government. He’s especially frustrated with the NHS, the country’s health service.
He points out that even though the NHS is doing 35% less work than before, it’s getting 44% more money from taxpayers. He thinks this is ridiculous and says it can’t keep going this way.
These numbers aren’t his own—they come from a man named Gareth Davies, who runs the National Audit Office. Davies’ job is to make sure government departments are spending taxpayer money wisely. But even he’s fed up.
Taxes are going up, but the quality of services like healthcare, education, and transport isn’t getting any better.
MacKenzie doesn’t believe Labour leader Keir Starmer and his team can fix these problems. He even quotes Margaret Thatcher, who once said that socialism doesn’t work because it “runs out of other people’s money.”
MacKenzie isn’t the only one who thinks Starmer isn’t doing a good job. Even Starmer’s closest advisor, Morgan McSweeney, has criticized him.
McSweeney said Starmer acts more like an HR manager than a real leader. Another aide joked that Starmer isn’t really in charge, comparing him to someone sitting on a driverless train—thinking he’s steering, but actually, he’s not doing much at all.
On top of that, Starmer is facing criticism about his past. A man named Sir Peter Lampi, who used to advise Tony Blair, has accused Starmer of not being honest about his education.
Starmer went to Reigate Grammar School, which was partly funded by the government when he started but later became a private school. Lampi says Starmer is “fudging the facts” by not being clear about this and making it seem like he went to a regular state school.
With his own team doubting him and people from his past calling him dishonest, it’s no surprise that Starmer’s government is really unpopular right now. A recent poll shows that 64% of British adults disapprove of the government the highest number since the last election.
MacKenzie calls Starmer “the most unpopular Prime Minister ever” and doesn’t think he can fix the country’s problems, especially when it comes to making public services like the NHS work better.
MacKenzie ends by saying that if other parties, like Reform or the Conservatives, get a chance to run the country, they need to promise to do a better job with taxpayer money. If they succeed, people will vote for them again. But if they fail, they’ll end up like Starmer—unpopular and forgotten.
