28views

A British man named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh has come forward to describe the terrifying moments after Air India flight 171 took off and crashed in Ahmedabad, India. He is one of the very few survivors and is currently being treated in hospital. Vishwash, who is 40 years old, said the entire event unfolded so quickly that there was barely any time to react.

According to him, about thirty seconds after takeoff, a loud and unusual sound came from the aircraft, and then everything suddenly went wrong. The plane lost control and crashed shortly after leaving the ground. He described the experience as horrifying, saying it felt like one moment everything was fine and the next moment, chaos had taken over.

Authorities in India have confirmed that the flight crashed into a residential area, which has made the situation even more tragic. Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik spoke to local media and said that emergency workers found Vishwash still strapped in his seat, seat 11A, when they arrived at the scene. He was alive and immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.

The police are still working to assess the full scale of the damage and the number of casualties. Commissioner Malik said they cannot yet confirm how many people have died, but warned that the death toll could rise as the crash affected a neighborhood filled with homes and people.

At the moment, rescue teams are continuing their search through the wreckage, hoping to find other survivors or recover those who didn’t make it. Families of the passengers are still waiting for news, and some are already beginning to fear the worst. The crash has shaken both the aviation community and local residents, many of whom heard the loud impact and rushed to help even before emergency crews arrived.

The cause of the crash is still unknown, and investigators will likely need time to examine the black box and other parts of the wrecked aircraft to understand what led to the disaster. Officials are urging the public to stay away from the crash site to avoid interfering with the rescue operation and the investigation.
