Boris Johnson Says Spy Device Found in His Bathroom After Netanyahu’s Visit (Video)

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has revealed in his new book that a listening device was found in his bathroom after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited.

According to Johnson, Netanyahu had visited him, and during the meeting, excused himself to use a bathroom that was in a “secret annex,” a hidden part of the house.

Johnson explained that after Netanyahu used the bathroom, his security team conducted a routine check for any hidden surveillance devices, which is standard procedure for high-level meetings. During this check, they reportedly discovered a listening device, or “bug,” in the bathroom.

In the book, Johnson said, “Netanyahu went to the bathroom for a while, and later, during a routine sweep for bugs, my team found a listening device in the toilet.” Johnson didn’t directly accuse Netanyahu but pointed out the strange timing of the discovery.

This incident comes with broader allegations that Israel had been involved in spying activities around the same time. The Telegraph reported that U.S. officials suspected Israel of planting surveillance devices near the White House and other key government locations in Washington, D.C. Although Israel denied the accusations, American authorities believed that Israel was likely behind the placement of devices used to spy on mobile phone communications in sensitive areas.

Johnson’s revelation adds to the ongoing concerns about international espionage and surveillance among world leaders.
