Many of you might already know that Reform UK has been speaking out against illegal migration in the United Kingdom for a long time. Now, Richard Tice from Reform UK has shared some shocking details about illegal migrants and how they are affecting the country. He spoke about this issue during a discussion at Westminster Hall.

During his speech, Tice talked about a growing problem in the UK – illegal working. He said that many people who are working in the country are doing so without the right permission. He gave an example of the fast food delivery industry. According to him, almost half of all fast food deliveries are being done by people who are using rented accounts instead of their own official accounts. He explained that some workers pay around £50 to £60 a week to rent these accounts from the original account holders. He questioned why someone would pay to use another person’s account if they could simply register their own for free. The only possible reason, he said, is that they are working illegally.

Tice also warned that this kind of illegal working is hurting British workers. He said that many hardworking people who want to make a decent living are being forced to accept lower wages because of illegal workers. He believes that this is unfair and that it is making life harder for legal workers who are trying to support themselves and their families.

Another big problem he spoke about is something he called “illegal legal migration.” He explained that this happens when people come to the UK on visitor visas and then use false information to stay and work in the country. According to Tice, this is a common issue in places like Boston and Skegness. He said that some people enter the UK as visitors, then go to certain shops where they are given instructions on how to fake documents. These documents make it look like they have been in the UK since before 2020, allowing them to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme. Once they get approval, they receive a National Insurance number, which allows them to work legally. Soon after that, they can also start claiming benefits.

Tice said that this problem is much bigger than most people realize. He urged the government to take action because illegal migration is putting a huge strain on the country. He pointed out that when too many people are living and working in the UK without the right paperwork, it puts pressure on housing, making it even harder for British citizens to find affordable homes.

He believes that the government must take stronger action to stop these illegal activities. At the same time, he said that legal migration, when done properly, can be good for the country. However, in recent years, he thinks the system has been poorly managed, leading to many challenges. He said that millions of people across the UK are concerned about this issue, and they just want the government to handle it properly.

In the end, Tice said that the best way to fix these problems is for the UK to focus on training and encouraging British workers. Instead of depending too much on migrants to fill job positions, the country should invest in getting more local people into work. He believes that if the government takes the right steps, they will gain the support of the British people.
