Prince Andrew email ‘leaves Princess Beatrice absolutely devastated’

75views

Princess Beatrice is said to be deeply upset and heartbroken after new emails involving her father, Prince Andrew, and his connection to Jeffrey Epstein were made public.

According to reports, these emails suggest that Prince Andrew was in contact with Epstein in 2011, despite previously claiming he had no communication with Epstein after their last meeting in December 2010.

This has left Beatrice feeling “absolutely devastated,” especially as she had just welcomed her second daughter, Athena, days before the emails came to light.

Jeffrey Epstein, a disgraced financier, was arrested in July 2019 on charges of child sex trafficking. He was later found dead in his jail cell in August 2019.

The recent emails, released by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, reportedly include one from Prince Andrew to Epstein, where Andrew writes, “Keep in close touch, and we’ll play some more soon!!!!” This has raised further questions about Andrew’s relationship with Epstein, despite his denials.

Beatrice, who is 36 years old, has been leaning on her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, for support during this difficult time. Sources close to the royal family say that Edoardo has been a “buffer zone” for Beatrice, shielding her from the distressing details of the allegations. The couple has grown closer as they navigate this challenging situation together.

Prince Andrew stepped down from his royal duties in 2019 after his ties to Epstein became public. In a widely discussed interview with the BBC’s *Newsnight* program that same year, Andrew denied any ongoing relationship with Epstein after their meeting in New York. He claimed that they had agreed to part ways and that he had no further contact with Epstein after that. However, the newly released emails seem to contradict his statements.

Despite the turmoil, Beatrice is finding comfort in her family, particularly in caring for her two young daughters, Sienna and newborn Athena. Athena was born on January 22 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. Beatrice had initially planned to spend Christmas with her husband’s family but had to change her plans due to medical advice against long-distance travel.

Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife and Beatrice’s mother, shared her joy over Athena’s birth on social media, calling the baby “absolutely perfect” and expressing how proud she is of Beatrice, Edoardo, and their growing family. Edoardo also shared his happiness, describing Athena as “tiny and absolutely perfect” and saying the family is “completely besotted with her.”

Buckingham Palace has been asked to comment on the situation but has not yet responded. Meanwhile, Beatrice continues to focus on her family, trying to stay strong during this emotionally challenging time.
