Prince Andrew Terrified to Set Foot in the U.S. as Legal Trouble Looms

67views

Prince Andrew is reportedly afraid to visit the United States due to growing calls for a renewed FBI investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Sources claim the Duke of York, now 64, fears he could face arrest, civil action, or legal questioning if he steps foot in the US.

A source told The Sun that Andrew’s fears have intensified after Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI director promised to do everything possible to expose Epstein’s enablers. Lawyers representing Epstein’s victims are now pushing the UK government to hand over Andrew for questioning.

The scandal surrounding Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein resurfaced years after their friendship was revealed. Andrew was accused of sexual assault by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed he assaulted her when she was a minor. Andrew has always denied the allegations and settled out of court with Giuffre in 2022.

Despite stepping back from public life, Andrew remains deeply concerned about his legal risks in the US. A close friend told The Sun, “He is terrified if he goes to America he could be arrested, face civil action, or be subpoenaed. He used to be Air Miles Andy, but he will never risk going to America again.”

Back in 2020, the FBI requested the UK Home Office’s assistance in questioning Andrew, but the investigation was paused last year. However, new developments have reignited public interest in Andrew’s ties to Epstein.

Recently unsealed High Court documents revealed an email exchange between Andrew and Epstein in February 2011, months after Andrew claimed to have cut ties with Epstein in December 2010. The duke had previously insisted during his 2019 Newsnight interview that he had ended all contact with Epstein after they were photographed together in New York.

However, the newly surfaced email exchange tells a different story. In 2011, Andrew reportedly wrote to Epstein: “Keep in close touch, and we’ll play some more soon!” This revelation contradicts his previous claims that he severed ties with Epstein in late 2010.

In the years following the scandal, Andrew has largely avoided public life and spends most of his time at Royal Lodge in Windsor. The latest developments, however, suggest that his past friendship with Epstein continues to cast a long shadow over his future.
